Concessions

SA Holders of Health Care Cards (for more than 12 months) and Pension cards are eligible for discounted spectacles, partly funded by the State governments SASS scheme, on a standard range of basic items.

Holders of a gold card through the Department of Veteran’s Affairs are eligible for free basic spectacles and some other items, funded by the Department.

These concessions are generally available once every 2 years, or sooner if necessary.
