Most eye exams are bulk-billed to Medicare, and eye tests are bulk-billed to Medicare with no out-of-pocket expense.

Some types of consultations may atract a fee, including contact lens consultations. Contact lens consultations will vary from $30 to $150 for a series of consultations. Ask your optometrist for a price at your first visit.
